# Course details

> Set the title, summary, language, outcomes, and prerequisites for a course.

## Purpose

Use course details to define the information that administrators and learners read about a course.

## Procedure

1. Open **Workspace**.
2. Select **Courses**.
3. Select the course.
4. Select **Details**.
5. Update the title, summary, language, and expected duration.
6. Add learning outcomes.
7. Add prerequisites when required.
8. Select **Save changes**.

## Result

ScaleApp Education saves the course details for the current course version.

## Write learning outcomes

Write one measurable outcome per item. Start each item with an action verb, such as "Identify", "Apply", or "Complete".
