# Pricing and offers

> Set the price and availability of a public course offer.

## Purpose

Use course offers to define free or one-time purchase access for a public course.

## Prerequisites

* Your organization has an active billing account.
* The course uses public self-enrollment.

## Procedure

1. Open the course.
2. Select **Pricing**.
3. Select free or one-time pricing.
4. Enter the price when you select one-time pricing.
5. Set the offer availability dates when required.
6. Activate the offer.
7. Save the offer.

## Result

The active offer determines the price shown on the public course page.
