# Publish and share a course

> Publish a course and copy its public URL.

## Prerequisites

* The course has the required details and curriculum.
* The course has the correct enrollment policy.
* A public course has an active offer when pricing is required.

## Publish a course

1. Open the course.
2. Select **Publishing**.
3. Review the publication requirements.
4. Set the course status to **Published**.
5. Save the publication settings.

## Share the public course URL

1. Open **Workspace**.
2. Select **Courses**.
3. Open the course action menu.
4. Select **Share course**.
5. Paste the copied URL into the required channel.

## Result

ScaleApp Education copies the public course URL in this format:

https://app.scaleapp.se/courses/<course-slug>
```
