# Platform overview

> Use the platform dashboard to review operations across ScaleApp Education organizations.

## Purpose

Use **Platform** to review organization, course, application, billing, and operational information across ScaleApp Education.

## Prerequisites

* You are a platform administrator.

## Procedure

1. Sign in to ScaleApp Education.
2. Open **Platform**.
3. Review the overview metrics and activity panels.
4. Open the relevant platform area to complete an operational task.

## Result

You can review platform-wide information without changing an organization workspace.

  Use platform controls only for platform-wide operations. Open an organization workspace when you need to perform organization-specific work.
