# Public courses

> Publish and review courses in the public ScaleApp Education catalogue.

## Purpose

Public courses allow visitors to discover eligible courses before they sign in.

## Requirements

A public course must have:

* A published course version.
* Public self-enrollment enabled.
* An active course offer.
* An active organization billing account.

## Public course URL

Public course URLs use this format:

```text theme={null}
https://app.scaleapp.se/courses/<course-slug>
```

## Result

Visitors can open the public course page, review its details, and start the available enrollment or checkout path.
