# Roles and permissions

> Reference the main responsibilities of ScaleApp Education roles.

| Role                       | Main responsibility                                             |
| -------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Organization administrator | Configure the workspace, manage people, structure, and courses. |
| Learning administrator     | Create, update, publish, and assign courses.                    |
| Manager                    | Review learning for assigned teams.                             |
| Instructor                 | Deliver assigned learning.                                      |
| Learner                    | Complete available learning and view personal records.          |
| Platform administrator     | Complete platform-wide administration.                          |

Use the minimum role that allows a person to complete their task.
