# Responsible contacts

> Add and maintain contacts for workspace operations.

## Purpose

Use responsible contacts to record the people responsible for billing, learning administration, privacy, security, and technical work.

## Add a contact

1. Open **Workspace**.
2. Select **Settings**.
3. Select **Responsible contacts**.
4. Select **Add contact**.
5. Enter the full name and email address.
6. Select the contact purpose and status.
7. Add a job title or phone number when required.
8. Select **Save changes**.

## Result

The contact is available to workspace administrators for the selected purpose.

  Do not publish a responsible contact on the public organization page unless you add the address explicitly in **Public profile**.
